After I reimage a client computer I have to walk to the
server to take it off of active directory in order to give
it the same computer name. Is there a setting to where it
takes the computer account off of the domain automatically
so that i wouldn't have to do it manually on active
directory?

As of Windows 2000 there is a feature in AD Users and Computers
to "reset" such accounts. You could of course write a script to do
this, but it is normally not necessary to remove the account from AD.

(Your milage may vary, because it doesn't always work -- 97% of
the time it is perhaps successful.)

You can also do this across the network, so "walking" may not
be necessary. You are going to need to reset the account though
if the password was changed (by the machine automatically) after
the image.

This used to be every week, but I seem to recall this is now 2
weeks -- but don't quote me on the time.
