I want to share here something that I found very intriguing about how the iPhone 11 handles difficult lighting. Take a look at the two pictures below and see computational photography at play. Both these pictures were shot within seconds of each other and both of them unedited coming straight out of the box. It is amazing to see what the hardware and software combined in the iPhone 11 can achieve. The image basically is the culmination of multiple images that the software (computational photography) in conjunction with the hardware (neural engine) the phone processes to come up with this kind of final result.
