When I try to publish my website, I keep getting the error
that Front Page is "Unable to connect to the server". What
do I need to do to fix this? I am certain that my host
accepts Front Page extensions.

I have had my website domain name since June and I STILL
haven't been able to upload my web!!!!

Thanks,
Tami

Have you contacted CompuServe?
Do you have a connection open to CompuServe prior to trying to upload?

Thomas,
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have contacted Compuserve
and they just refer me to the library, which is loaded
with tons of information on SEVERAL subjects that I would
have to take days reading before I found just the one that
I am looking for.

And yes, I had a connection open before I tried to upload.

I am thinking it has something to do with CompuServe maybe
not allowing ftp file transfers? I am not as bright as I
need to be in this area to speak logically.

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
Tami

When you go to publish, how are you entering the publishing location?

Is this one of the free included with your account CS website? If so
when I had an account with them they did not have FrontPage extensions
included. I had to make my site and then FTP it to the site. You can't
include any FP bots. This is one drawback.
