computer is running slow, what do i do

also, how do i keep things from popping up on compter screen when i'm online

what's the best anti-viral download for my computer should i use?
 
If your computer has all of a sudden started to slow
down, it could be a virus or adware/spyware.

For virus protection, I would recommend Norton Antivirus.
It will set you back a little cash, but it's well worth
it. I have tried other anti-virus programs, but I've
found Norton to provide the best protection.

To scan for adware/spyware go to the following websites
and download their programs

Ad-Aware
www.lavasoftusa.com

Spybot Search&Destroy
www.safer-networking.org

Download both programs and install them. Download the
updates for them (within the programs) and scan your
computer. Remove/fix everything that they find.

that works well.
