compression of email photos

When sending photo's from my pictues folder I used to get a
message asking me to ok the smaller size or keep the
original, this message no longer appears. How do I get it
back. Tried restore to various dates with no luck .

Type in Start Run,

regsvr32 shimgvw

Try this:

go to...Start / Run and type:

"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)

Click...OK.

Yes I am getting exactly the same problem and MS

Knowledge base gives no guidance on this problem other
than re-install Windows Messaging - but does not work.
The resize was one of most useful features of XP e-
mailing linkage. If you get solution please let me know.
