I have downloaded my video into Windows Movie Maker, but the website I am

help
menu.
Thanks!
Hi
You seem to be in a muddle,
You "downloaded" a video into WMM but the website "says to compress it"?
I assume you have a video clip you wish to *upload* to a website but your
clip exceeds the sites permitted file size?
What file type is the clip?
What site are you trying to "upload" the clip to?
You're using WMM and "Windows Media Video" (wmv) is without doubt
the most compatible and readily accepted file format.
WMM won't accept certain file types, one prime example being .mov,
Some file hosting sites have limits not only on size but length also,
example being YouTube with restrictions on file size to 100mb and
length upto 10mins.
I'm guessing you really haven't a hint of what you are attempting to do?
In WMM you can edit the clip to reduce playback time to meet criteria
and then produce a clip of various options of compression to fit to the
sites maximum size limits.
But you supply too little detail of your problem.
