Hi there,

Months ago, i recorded the Cubsv. Yankees game, and it is a
whopping 57gb file.

I'm a novice at vid capping, and i'm wondering if anyone would
be kind enough to tell me how to 'shrink' the file while still
retaining good video quality. Thanks!!

break it apart?

you'll have to google for a 'splicer' for mpg, avi?
if you did it in .VCR then ulead editor can be used...actually you could do the whole thing in ulead come to think of it.no matter
what the extension...

that's easy, if it's 57gigs it's a .AVI file, just about ANY dvd software
will convert it to a .MPG2 file and it will fit in one DVD.
