compressing cd files to mp3 format

hi, Im just wondering how to compress my cd files into mp3 format. I have
about 30 cd's i wish to put on a cd, to play on my mp3 player in the car, and
i have no idea how to do it? If someone could help, that would be most
appreciated.

Use CDex to rip/encode your CDs as MP3s. Use your favorite CD-burning app to
create a "data disc". Fill it with MP3s and click "burn".
