We just got a new HP2420D laser printer.
Our accounting program outputs one report in compressed (high density)
print.
Our people like the font style and height better on the old laser printer.
Is there any way (thru the printer front panel or the printer driver) to
affect the appearance of compressed print , or is it completely under the
control of the accounting program code??

PS - we installed the driver which came on the CD

Thanks,
John

John-

It sounds like a font has been substituted, for whatever reason. You
might try some other similar fonts and choose the one you like the best.

It may not be likely for such a new printer, but there could be a newer
driver available at the Microsoft web site (assuming you are using Windows
XP).
