In trying to download Internet Explorer 6, I receive a
message that "not all components installed successfully".
One of those components is "Internet Explorer 6 Web
Browser". I was downloading Internet Explorer because it
was not working properly, and I figured if I download it,
hopefully my problem would go away and it would work
properly. If I tried to get on to Internet Explorer, it
seems to be trying to go to www.xupiter.com/toolbar2,
which I have no idea what it is but nothing happens except
that the computer seems to be looking for something but
never finds it, and keeps going around and around.
Any suggestions on this symptom?
Also, when I tried to download some of the patches for
Internet Explorer and they begin their scan for updates I
would need, I got an error message that they can't
complete the scan and reference a message "0x800A138F"
Again I have no idea what to do.
