Does anybody know if there is a component like the new outlook 2003 inbox.
It has a really good drop down grouping feature, and visually looks very
good.

Thanks

Have you looked at the GridEx from Janus Systems?
http://www.janusys.net/janus/library/

Which also includes Card View, TimeLine, and Schedule & Button Bar controls.
I find it does an exceptional job at mimicking the Outlook controls.

The TrueDBGrid from ComponentOne grid has similar grouping ability, but I
have not used it as much as GridEx.

Hope this helps

news.microsoft.com,
What's "that" the GridEx control or the TrueDB control?
it doesn't cut it in what I am looking for
So what are you looking for?

I use Outlook 2003 and I find the .NET GridEx control to be reasonable close
to the Grid in Outlook's Inbox.

There are some visual differences that I get the impression you can control
with the styles.

Remember Outlook 2003 just came out, so it may be a while before an exact
match is available.

Is there a reason you like to be referred to as news.microsoft.com?

Hope this helps

I got the Janus pack.

Not looked at the .net gridex control, thanks for the heads up, I'll take a
look

If you are interested in a native .NET scheduling component, please look at
Gravitybox Schedule.NET. It is a most comprehensive .NET component. The
source is even available if need be.
