Component database updates?

Does Microsoft make available updates/new components for the component
database? If so, where does one get them?

I'm in the process of configuring XPe for a motherboard that uses the Nvidia
GeForce 7100mForce 630i chipset. So before I possibly reinvent the necessary
components, I'm just checking to see if they have already been done.

They do, but not generally for hardware. Updates (QFEs) are available
on the secure (ECE) site which you should have been given access to
when
you signed the license with MS.

There are different websites for examples of hardware components:
www.xpefiles.com and www.seanliming.com. Typically you have to create your
own hardware components.
