Howdy:
Numerous users on the server seem to print fine, but if I
look at the printers some of them show jobs still in the
queue. These are jobs that printed out fine. If they
aren't deleted out, they end up reprinting later in the
day.
The problem seems limited to HP LaserJets; both directly
connected to the client workstations and network
printers. The list includes: LJ 1100, 4100, 4050, and 6L.
It doesn't seem to happen with several HP Business
InkJets, nor a Sharp copier/network printer.
I've tried reinstalling drivers on both the server and
workstations. Are there files that need to be manually
removed before reloading drivers? Is it a corrupt system
file? Yes, I've looked in the event logs without success.
Any help would be appreciated.
