I use outlook 2003 and have now 4 lots of personal folders appearing in the
navigation panel.
I have tried to remove these but they will not 'close' (it’s a blanked
option), furthermore when I check the data file management it only shows 1
personal folder available!
If I click on properties of each personal folder in the navigation panel
then advanced it shows 'operation failed' an object cannot be found.
I use laplink to synchronise between my 2 computers and synchronise the
outlook and archive folders. This has worked fine for many months but since I
started using plaxo on my main computer this problem occurred.
I have uninstalled plaxo and have tried to uninstall outlook and reinstall
for a full clean start and then I can bring in my own outlook.pst file from
my laptop (the laptop works fine by the way and only shows 1 personal folder).
The problem is therefore only on my main computer.
The problem is when I reinstall the same situation occurs, in other words
there must be an outlook file somewhere that is setting all these p[personal
folders and this file is not being deleted when I do a full uninstall. (I
also tried a full office uninstall and reinstall and had the same problem).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
