Complete Countries listing

I need the complete countries table. Where can I get it? I can't just "collect" countries, I need an official site where I can get them. I searched United Nations with no luck.

How about the ISO 3166 country names (with corresponding code elements)?
You can find it at (watch for line wrap):

P.S. I did look for a web service that offered this up, but to no avail.

ups, I need them in spanish... the site is only in english and french? do I
have to translate them all?

I would do a lookup on the web for "spanish" and "ISO 3166". The link I
gave you came from a search on google for "ISO 3166".

this should be available through the spanish customs office ( import/export
etc )
