Hi all!
Is there any additional information on mibcc other than
the online help documents and the books that come with
the resource kit? The info from it is pretty sparce.
I'm trying to compile a SNMPv2-CONF file (RFC 2580) but
it gives syntax errors. I thought I read somewhere that
there are some standard modules that are already part of
mibcc so there is no need to re-compile. Is there a list
of these modules? Does mibcc only compile SNMPv1? or
can it also compile SNMPv2? It seems to fail at the
MACRO definition "OBJECT-GROUP". If I don't include the
SNMPv2-CONF file when compiling, the (3rd party) MIB that
imports SNMPv2-CONF gives a semantics error. Also, since
I'm new to SNMP for windows, is a dll file absolutely
necessary? If a DLL file is needed, what information is
in it, and how does one go about creating a DLL?
Thanks! (in advance)
Emily
