Hi,

This seems to be confusing but let me know if anyone has encountered it
before.

I am presently working on a compiler upgrade of a huge source code. The
code did not give any errors on VC 6.0 compilation. But in VC 7.1
compilation I got a message that "private members cannot be accesed from
outside". I havent had much time in looking at the cause and why i did
not get this genuine message during vc 6.0 compilation.

Any pointers shall be helpful.

Thanks in adcance.

Regards,
Navnath

Post some representative code for people to examine. VC7.1 is much more
standards-conformant than VC6 was - in all likelihood, your code was invalid
but compiled anyway due to a bug in VC6.
