Actually it doesn't as has already been said. You see in .NET you can have
parts written in C#, and parts written in VB.NET.
So back to the question, " how many of Microsoft's products are written in
VB6 ???
So in terms of leaps and bounds (by
orders of magnitude) better than VB 6, the proof is there: Microsoft is
using .NET extensively;
So how many were written in VB6 ?
Microsoft is writing software in .NET
and making a load of money
products such as Microsoft Dynamics, POS
etc, etc, which are written in .NET and represent one of the BIGGEST growth
in revenue sectors in Microsoft.
That Office code base remains in C++
