compiled help files (.chm)

I am looking for a freeware program that can create a single .chm
"help" file from a downloaded website (ie, can combine all the html
files used in websites into a single .chm).

I think some web downloaders might offer this feature, but am looking
for a stand-alone program if one exists.

You could use Microsoft's own help compiler, but it will need some work...
