The proper place to check for program compatibility is with the program
vendor. Vista's program compatibility wizard can be used if it is not by
right clicking the .exe or .lnk file and checking properties.

It's my webcam, I've emailed Logitech and god knows when they'll answer.
The cam is old and not listed on their site so chances are I may have to buy
a new cam. I'm not really into web camming but need to created a video
tutorial and I'm reluctant to buy a new cam just for that. Probably I'll
borrow one for a while. First I'll see if I can get my cam working.

Yes, you most likely will need a new webcam if there is not Vista software
for the old one.
