Hi,
i hope you can help... My husband has a set of teaching
CDs that are Win95/98 compatible that he would like to
use. We have two PCs, one running Me and one running XP
Home. When I try to install the progs on XP I get a run
time error. This PC is a P4, 2.4. When I try to install
on the Me PC, I get a parameters error. This PC is a
Cel600. Both Pcs are running 512Meg of memory. Both PCs
run beautifully, with no problems, ever. So, this has me
scratching my head and at a total loss. Is there a way to
make one of these Windows programs compatible with these
teaching CDs? As an aside, these CDs were a gift from our
daughter and he only now has the time to actually use
them (we're retired). Thanks.....Connie

Try this:
insert the CD. If it auto starts cancel out.
Open "my computer"
Right click the CD icon and select "explore"
navigate to the CD setup program and right click.
Select properties/compatability.
From there, you can choose windows95 -
