Can I use a mde application created with Access 2000 on a PC with Access97.
If so would it run smoothly. I dont have Access 97 to test it on.
Could I also use the same Access 2k App on a system with Access2003
installed?

The reason I ask is that potential users of the app may not have Access 2k.

No.

In principle yes (and for Access 2002 as well), but you can't be sure
without testing.
