Currently using Excel 2007 (12.0.6300.5000) SP1 MSO (12.0.6213.1000). Any
attempt to create a new file in a version compatible with Excel 2003 or to
save a 2007 version into a 2003 format, even using the compatibility mode,
has led to colleagues (who are using Excel 2003) opening a file that has lost
EVERY format, including number formats, colors, font styles, etc.
Furthermore, they also frequently receive an error message stating that there
are too many different formats and this error leads to a major system crash.
The Excel 2003 users have installed the Compatibility Pack.
Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.
