Did anyone try to use the compatibility function on xp for older program? When
I try it to use it work great( I just chage the color setting to 256 ) ,but
when I log on as a different user the setting that I set they are not there
as that user.
Here what I did:
Install the software and after that modified the shortcut on the all user
profile to run with 256 color run work great . As I log out and a differeent
user log on the same shortcut ,that was save under the all user profile do
not have any setting that I apply.
I log the student off I log on everything that I did to the shortcut is back.
I also run the wizard after installing the program and a message said that
install correctly but when again run as other user the setting are not there
Are those setting profile related?
Any suggestion?

Here's something that may help:
http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/OS-Enhancements/Resolution-Changer.shtml

Resolution Changer says it's a command-line utility that can (among
other things) change color depth (it's also free). The description
includes this paragraph:

You can have ResChange run another application in a specific display
resolution and return to the previous resolution when the application
finishes.

Sounds like it might be just what you need.
