Most mainboards will come with their own cutout plate to replace the plate
in the case. Even though the port cutouts are different, they are usually
on a single long rectangular piece of metal that can be popped out and
replaced with the one that came with the system board.

i got an ASUS "A8V Deluxe" VIA K8T800 Pro Chipset Motherboard For AMD Socket
939 CPU

and a
Cooler Master CM Stacker Full-Tower CASE, Model STC-T01-UW

the motherboard ports dont fit the case, like the audio and parallel ports.
what did i do wrong to buy incompatable devices ?

thanks a great deal, now it looks like the Processer i bought was wrong, i
got an Athlon FX-53 and it doesnt seem to fit in the slot.

The MOTHERBOARD comes with a small plate in it's box that's called an
escutcheon that has the correct punch outs for the various sockets on the
back of the motherboard.. You install the escutcheon into the rear of the
case and the motherboard will install fine.
