During a recent Staples Business Expo, I was told by a
Microsoft Representative that Outlook would now work with
AOL. I can't figure out how. Does anyone know how.

It'll work in the sense that you can dial up using AOL and then use Outlook
to send and retrieve NON-AOL mail.
the ONLY software that will work DIRECTLY with AOL mail is AOL itself, and
Netscape 7.x
There are third party add-ins that enable Outlook to read and send AOL mail
AFAIK.....

Thanks for the reply. How do I obtain third party add-
ins? Also, how can I retrieve non-aol mail?

You can retrieve non-aol mail in the usual way - set up your email account
details in Outlook. You won't be able to send though unless you can find an
smtp server that doesn't rely on its own IP addresses....
Do a google search for the add-ins......
