Thanks in Advance for your help; I currently use OL 2002,
XP Home and ACT! 6.0. I have not tried using OL Add In's
before, but would like to, as they can add some
functionality I need. Question: ACT! Integrates with
OL2002 Email, and this is a core application for us. I
realize that ACT is not your product, but can you tell me
if using OL Add In's can possibly created problems with
ACT?

I'm kind of ignorant, but typically when another software
manufacturer integrates with another vendors application,
they are not taking into account any Add In's that may be
used, right?

How do Add In's work in terms of compatability? Are
there differrent classifications or rating of Add In's?
For example: Is there a category of Add In's that are
guaranteed not to conflict with any other programs that
OL is currently integrated with?

Thanks for your help!

Depending on how the addin is written it could conflict with other
addins but a properly written addin should not provide any conflicts.
An addin writer can't really know what if any other addins are or
might be installed so you have to test yourself with any addins you
might want to use.

How could anyone provide a guarantee that their addin could not
possibly have any conflicts with other addins without knowing what the
addins are and how they are written?
