Compat Framework updates.

I have found distributable updates for CF .NET, but I have not found a
compatible update for Visual Studio - so while my development PDAs have CF
..NET SP3 installed, my version of Visual Studio tells me there is an
incompatibility between the version of CF it is using and the one installed
on the PDAs.

Is there such an update for Visual Studio .NET 2003? If so, I'd be grateful
for a link to is, as I have not yet found it.

There is no update at this time for VS.NET 2003. The message that you're
seeing is probably the one in the output window that informs you that the CF
bits installed on the device are newer than the ones that VS wants to
install. This message can be ignored.

OK, thank you. Is there going to be an update? Or are we supposed to plan to
upgrade to VS 2005?

If I remember correctly, there was talk of an update for VS.NET 2003 a while
back. However, I'm not sure if the devices team planned to update their bits
as part of this update. With VS 2005 so close to release I don't know if the
plans for an update have been scrapped altogether or just put on hold until
after 2005 is out the door. Maybe someone from MS will jump in here and
clarify, if possible.
