Comparison of Files and Folders

Hi, all! Does anyone know how I can compare
files/folders to detect duplicates on my computer? Using
Windows Professional, I can only find the glossary
definitions for comp...fc...etc....no how to? Thanks for
any information. Nan

Check out the "comp" command in Help and Support. This is a command line
tool. There are third party program that have a graphical user interface.
Personally I use a shareware program called ViceVersa Plus for this task.
 
I use System Mechanic from www.iolo.com to find and delete duplicate files.

They have a free version and 30 day trials for both of their paid versions
(Pro and Plus).
