Hi All

I am developing a system where I make changes to a master Access database,
and need to make the same changes on clients databases.

Does anybody know of a good tool for comparing the structure of two access
databases, that is, tables, fields, indexes and relationships (queries are
not needed at this point)?

I have try serching on google, but the tools either crash my access, or
gives me wrong answers (like saying that two totally different databases
are alike), or I cannont download a trial version.

I am using access 2000.

Regards
Kim

Kim:

I haven't had to use it for a while, but I had pretty good results with
CompareWiz2000. There are versions for Access 97, 2000 and 2002. You can
find it at www.SoftwareAddins.com. As I recall it was very inexpensive (I
don't recall if there was a trial version, but if there was I quickly
upgraded) and it did what I needed it to. However, my needs were pretty
basic and straightforward (as in, "what the hell did I do to this file in my
last session?")

Hope this helps,

There's links to several on my website.
