Compaq SR1030Z reboot playing COD 2 after install RX800-TD128E video card

I think the reboot is due to weak power supply, it came with 300w and
the video card spec suggest 350w recommanded. what should i do now?
upgrade power supply? where can i find a replacement with the same
plug? i do have two nec dvd writer, if i take out one of them will it
help the situation? TIA

any standard psu will should do, the only problem will be fitting it into
the case, if the box part is a custom shape (shorter than standard for ex)
then you will have to change the case too (how annoying)

Could also be a heat issue. My 9800XT was doing the same thing as the
fan was dying...
 
i ran 3dmark 2005 with diskkeeper defragging in the background without
problem, still got 3900 score. The Call of Duty 2 that i ran was demo
version. maybe the demo has bugs? i ran FEAR demo with no problem.
gonna try retail version of half life 2 tonite at high resolution
setting to see if it still reboots. the power supply is 24 pin
therefore i need something that has 24 pin. does frys have good
selection of quality power supplies? which one should i get? TIA
