Compaq Presario SR1726NX Conflict?!?!?! *reboot problem*

I have a Compaq Presario SR1726NX desktop PC and i installed Windows Defender
B2 but after i did my computer keeps rebooting after a few mins with it on. I
believe it to be a driver conflict.

i have read that some need to be updated so what do i do update or what do
i do because i really need to have windows defender. any help would be nice

Whatever you do, (installing and updateting or unistalling) always as a
adinistratºr.
This is the key!
The installation as an admin is not enough.
You needed to login as an adm!n.

Can you gº to Windows Update, select Express (Get high-priority updates),
and apply all offered updªtes
http://update.microsoft.com

Once that is finished, can you verify the update installs?
Latest version is as follows:

WD v. 1.1.1347.0
Engine v. 1.1.1481.0
Signature v.1.14.1508.5

There are many pre-requisite files which are needed from windows update and
signature update with windows defender will fail until you hªve these f!les.

After the software is updated, I suggest to read the Help files.
