I just upgraded an new XP build to Vista. Everything is working except for
the display. I can see my BIOS and the pre-booting Vista screen. When Vista
actually comes up, the screen goes black. I was able to plug a monitor in
the back so I can actually work on it. I tried every graphics setting and
then tried my FN + F4 to get my laptop display to come back but no dice. The
display driver is installed correctly. It's like it doesn't recognize my
laptop screen as a possible display. Did anyone else have this problem?
Anyone know of a work around so I can take my laptop outside the house?
Thanks, Mike
