ok... I used to have my company domain within AD - for security reasons I
changed it to Primary/Secondary
Now - I'm hosed.
I rebooted the systems and the DNS lost the company domain records - there
gone...
i recreated with just the bare minimum - but how do I get my for domain
folders back?

thanks
Sandy

Make the zone DYNAMIC -- make sure you DCs NIC point only to this DNS
server and then RESTART NETLOGIN service.

Netlogin is responsible for those subdomains and for the records within
them.

Sandy, if the zones are not coming up automatically or when the netlgon
service is restarted, then there's something else going on. If you can post
an ipconfig /all of the server and let us know what the AD domain name is,
that will better help to diagnose it for you.
