I can't compact a database the allowed me to compact before. It keeps giving me record(s) can't be read error. I have done everything that article 301869 has suggested. Does anyone have any idea? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Anthony:

The outlook may be grim. That error is indicative of corruption in the
system tables and file structure of the .mdb. The best I can suggest is to
create a new database and attempt to import the objects from the old
database file.

Also, here are a couple more articles that you may find useful:

Good luck.
