We have a single user application distributed to several
sites. The data relates only to that user's site. There
is no need to consolidate sites.
It is a split database (A.mde and A_be.mdb) so we can
distribute the .mde (front-end) changes to the end user
without affecting the A_be.mdb (database).
We notice that when opening the mde and compacting, the
mdb is not reduced in size. Outside of instructing the
users to directly open the A_be.mdb and compact from
tools menu, any suggestions?
