communications

at the office I have MS office 2000SR-1 with excel

at home I have MS works suite 2001.....neither system
will/can open in a readable format an excel spread sheet
created on the other...what do I have to do to get these 2
to "communicate " ?

Hi Hombre!

You need to save your Works workbook in Excel format. Works should
open Excel files but you may lose some formats and functionality.

Better to twist the arm of your boss! Since you're working at home
they should at least provide the program. I believe current licenses
for 2003 allow installation on home computers but you should check.
