Communication ports

I am testing out some bluetooth equipment and everytime i reinstall the
bluetooth software it adds creates 2 more communication ports. Right now i am
up to com port 23 in the device manager. How do i delete the com ports to get
the number down? I need to know how to delete the com ports, because the
software that i am using uses only com port 8 and i can not select com 8 in
the bluetooth software because when i reinstall the bluetooth software it
creates and then uses 2 more com ports
