communicate with MP3 player

I have an MP3 player (Samsung YH-920) for which I used to use 'Yepp studio'
to interface.
I don't like the software, but have not yet found a substitute that works
(allows me to see what's on the MP3 player).

My new P.C. has windows media player 10 installed.
When I try to install 'Yepp studio' I'm told to uninstall WMP version 10,
install version 9 & try again.

I used 'add/ remove windows components' in an attempt to un-install ver. 10,
then tried to down load ver. 9.
I'm unable to install ver. 9, since I'm told a newer version already exists
on my P.C.

Can someone help me either:

Recommend a feely available software that will allow me to communicate with
my MP3 player without installing Yepp studio?
or,
Tell me how I can get rid of WMP ver. 10, install ver. 9, so I can load Yepp
studio?

tks,

tks,

When you plug it in you can generally browse it just like using Explorer.
Open My Computer and it should be listed as an additional drive.

Start > Control Panel > Classic View if not already enabled > Add/remove
programs > tick the box to show updates...

There you can uninstall WMP10 and be back at WMP9.

Thanks,

Yes, it's listed as an additional drive.
However, as with other soft. I've tried, I can only see stuff other than
music installed via Yepp studio.

Your uninstall solution seems to work, thanks
