Hello!

I have had a nagging problem that I would like to get rid
of, finally. Every single time that I open Internet
Explorer, the CommonName toolbar is loaded and running,
and the standard address bar is hidden behind it. I
would like to only have the standard address bar visible
when I open Internet Explorer. I alwyas have to go
to "View-Toolbars-CommonName" to deselect it. Is there
anyway that I can have just the standard address bar, and
never have the CommonName toolbar appear when I open
Explorer? Thanks, I appreciate the help with this
seemingly simple question.

See this site for how to disable or uninstall CommonName:
http://www.commonname.com/english/ug/toolbar/default.asp?idx=10

This is one of the parasites/malware installed with Kazaa, or other
programs.

If CommonName is present, you may have other parasite/spyware/malware on
your system:

Use Ad-Aware and/or Spybot Search & Destroy to remove it.

Ad-Aware: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/
Spybot: http://security.kolla.de/
Good site on how to install and use Spybot -
