"Common Name (over 200K signatures)

Question: Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta1 has been running
for about 11 hours now. It is counting up
the "CommonName" spyware signatures. Currently it is
over 206000.

Will this ever stop? What should I do?

Hi

Stop scanning and try this:

- Download/Install CCleaner, www.ccleaner.com

- Download/Install Lavasofts Adaware

* Also watch the video from Cnet about Adware within page
for best result.*

- Download Winsockfix, just a precaution if you loose your LSP.

- Restart in *safe mode*, press F8 during reboot

- Run CCcleaner and remove all temporarily junk.

- Run Adaware, fullscan

- Run MSAS, fullscan

- Restart
 
And please submit a tools, suspected spyware report from Microsoft
Antispyware--detailing what happened!
