How do I stop the Common Folder appearing on Startup?

OK, that is due to a registry or startup load entry that's either incomplete
or malformed. The load process stops at the folder, and can't run the
referenced app itself.

Look in msconfig for entries that refer to items in the common folder. You
may then need to go into that location in the registry itself.

If it's an app you actually do want to run, carefully examine the way it's
written to find the error. The problem can in some cases be just that
quotes aren't used, or worse, that only one is used, for paths that have
spaces (like "c:\program files\common files"). Once you've identified the
culprit, the support pages for that vendor may help you.

In addition to what Patrick Keenan suggests, you might consider whether you
really need all those item to start up on boot. You seem to have rather a
lot of items in the \Run keys, most of which are not really useful for most
users.

A good source of information about startup items, what theu do and whether
they are needed is
