Commitment control

Hello,

I'm posting this question in several MS Access newsgroups, hoping someone
will be able to help me.

I created a simple application program in MS Access as front end, using
Informix database as backend. It is a data entry program to store values
into the database. My forms are all created using Wizards. How do I
perform the commitment control in this application?

Thanks,
Aimee

I answered your question in another newsgroup; that answer will not appear
here because you chose to post the identical question separately to multiple
newsgroups (called multiposting) rather than crossposting (in which case the
answers would appear in all the cross-posted newsgroups along with the
question) with multiple newsgroups specified in the header of the posted
message.

Generally it is neither necessary nor beneficial to post to multiple
newsgroups, but if you feel compelled to do so, please show others the
courtesy of crossposting rather than "multiposting" as you did. Thanks.

For other good suggestions on effective use of newsgroups, see the FAQ at

Just to tag onto Larry's posting, it would appear, Aimee, that you're using
Outlook Express.

Click the "Newsgroups:" label to the left of the box containing the name of
the current newsgroup. That will open a dialog that will let you add
additional newsgroups to your post.

Note that it's generally consider to be A Bad Thing to cross-post to more
than about 2 or 3 newsgroups. (In fact, at
http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/features/2001/Mar01/Mar27pmvp.asp
Microsoft suggests that "One group will suffice")
