In the Sample dbase called Contact Management, they have a Calls for

This form is made of what I assumed was a unbound form, but has in the record source the Contact table

I want to recreate that structure, but haven't been able to figure it out.

Purpose: I want to track all phone calls regarding client calls and client care. I want these entries date stamped and who made/received the call as well as a memo field

Tables involved: Customers , CLComment

CLComments - Structur
CommentI
CustomerI
Date -- default date(
CLComments -- mem
Purpose -- text -- drop down lis
Staff -- text -- drop down lis

Customer - Structur
Client Nam
Etc
CommentI

I like the way that they have it set up, but I'm missing something

This is not set in stone so if there is an easier way, I'm open to suggestion

My ultimate need/desire here is to able to run a report that is date driven and could also be sorted by whether the contact was in reference to a complaint, incident etc. ie the purpose. (I want to know how many complaint/praises we had from 1/1/04-3/15/04 etc)
