Hi everybody,

1) I need to know if microsoft sell an Office 2003 developer version,
otherwise it is possible than name developer was change for another
name ?

2) Which comments than you've got about the use ? They are positive or
negative ? Which one ?

Thnak you i need those informations, because my boss want to choose
between Office 2002 or 2003 license

There is no Office 2003 Developer edition as in prior iterations.

The functions that were offered in the developer editions have been migrated
to a separate suite of applications embodied in Visual Studio Tools for
Office System 2003.

Be advised that it is a hefty set of material comprising ten CDs and
requires Office 2003, or Access 2003, be installed to use the various
specific tools. Additionally, because of various relationships and
dependencies, there is a specific order of installation which is addressed
on the MS website.

Thank you for your information,

So could you tell me,

If you use Access 2003 can you tell about the database conversion.
Could you tell me if the conversion is also easily between Access 200
& Access XP than Access XP & Access 2000.

Could you tell me the advantage to use the Access 2003 version ?

Thanks again for the information, it will help us to take a decisio
about the licens

I can't speak too much as to the differences as I've only had A2003 for a
little more than a week, but they seem to be minimal.

The major improvements are with regard to viewing object dependencies, error
checking in forms and reports, propagation of inherited properties, XML
support, use of Windows themes, and macro security.

Conversion seems to work very well. I've converted two A2002 projects and a
small A97 application with no problems.

A major consideration would be in platform requirements. A2003 requires
Windows 2000, SP3, or later. Thus Windows ME and earlier, and NT, users
cannot run A2003.
