Hello

I don't normally use Powerpoint but I have to do a job with it

I'd like to know if it is possible to enter into the commentary box (under a
page) a text so that it appears under all the pages of the Powerpoint
presentation rather than entering it one page at a time.

Thanks in advance

Hello

Just trying to save me from opening up hundreds of Powerpoint presentations
and adding the text to commentries of every single page of every single
presentation.

Can you help?

Thanks

Hello

Ok , I'll start again

I need to open up hundreds of powerpoint presentations to add a comentary
(the same one) to every single page

I'm looking for a quick way to open up each presentation and add the
commentary just once so that it appears at the bottom of every single page
of the presentation

Can you help please?

Thanks

itself to the wrong thread; whether that's in the newsgroup or in my
newsreader, I don't know]

Maybe, but only if you can describe what it is you want to do. You're
looking
at the presentation so it's probably obvious to you what you have and what
you
want it to become.

All I can see is your words on this screen and it's not at all obvious to
me.

I mentioned earlier that you can add text or graphics to the Notes Master
and
it'll appear on all *printed* notes handouts but not under the slide while
you're editing PowerPont or in the notes text portion of Presenter view.

Is that what you want to do?

Or do you need to put a specific bit of text into the notes for each
slide?

If so, does it become the only notes text for the slide, or is it added to
any
existing notes text?

If the latter then does it go before or after the existing text?

Thanks

Try this:

Open a presentation

Choose View, Notes Pages

Add a text box, type the desired text, format it and position it to taste

Does that produce the effect you're after?

Thanks

Yes and no.

What's the problem you're trying to solve here?

Do you want to put instructions for the user in the notes text box
of
each
slide in a set you hand to a client, and expect that they'll delete
the
instrux
and add their own text later or ....???

There might be a way of doing it with a quick little VBA macro.

Hi

I think you have understood what I want

Sorry if I wasnt clear but I dont use Powerpoint a lot and my version is in
French and I'm not always sure of the menu entries you mention in English

Is it possible what you said underneath?

Thanks

OK. Even if you can't/won't tell me so, I think I can intuit that you
want
this text to appear in the notes beneath each slide in Normal view as
opposed
to on the notes pages when viewed or printed.

But that about uses up my limited powers of clairvoyance. The battery on
the
crystal ball ran out and I'm about to give up.

One more time:

If you'll answer the questions I asked earlier and repeated at least once,
I
might be able to help.

Otherwise, I'm dropping the thread.

Sorry.
