Hi, all.
I'v ask similar question before, but perhaps I haven't described the
scenario accurately.
I often works with telnet. After telneted to the device and finished my job,
I sometimes forget to quit from it. Minutes later, the device terminates the
telnet session automatically, the output looks like this:
%connection closed by remote host!
Connection to host lost.
After its swan song, the window hangs. I can resize and minimize it, I can
even copy its text by draging and right-clicking, but I can't close it.
If I run telnet.exe from command line, I can execute any command after
telnet.exe returns, except EXIT, which makes command window hangs.
According to other network administrators on the Internet, the scenario
appears on not only Windows 2000, but also Windows 2003 and Windows XP.
I have spent lots of time to seek a solution, but till now, I have to endure
the great inconvenience. Someone could clues me?
