Command prompt gets blocked

Just installed MS Antispyware.
When I try to run cmd.exe or command.com, I get a
messagebox saying:
path\comman~.pif or path\cmdexe~.pif
path\autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for
running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications.
Choose 'close' to terminate the application.
What gives???
