Perhaps I am just being damned stupid but what exactly does the /pwd command
do when used on the command line of a shortcut?
I can get the /ro one but work but I am just not sure exactly what the /pwd
one does. The inbuilt help is almost no help at all - a brief sentence:
'Starts Microsoft Access by using the specified password'.
I assumed that this meant that if a database was password protected, you
could avoid having to re-type it all the time by using the shortcut and the
password on the command line.
Obviously this is not the case. In 2k, I get a login box asking me for a
name and password. If I enter the database password, Access says not a valid
account name or password.
What am I getting wrong?!
