Command-line startup to select profile

I usually accumulate a huge amount of messages in my mailbox, and have
a fairly large list of rules set up to handle them (sorting the
messages out into various folders, setting categories, etc.). That
large list of rules causes the download of emails to slow down
significantly. I've created a separate profile that just pulls them
down with no rules, which accelerates the process considerably, BUT
this means I have to manually select each profile whenever I start up
Outlook.

I was wondering if there was a command-line option where I can specify
the profile in a shortcut (something like "outlook.exe
/profile:massxfer") so that I can leave the default profile the way I
usually use, and then have the separate profile to click on whenever I
need to use the alternate profile. Is there such an option?

Yes there is such a command line but easier would be to set Outlook to
prompt you for a mail profile;
Control Panel-> Mail-> Show Profiles-> Prompt for a profile to be used

I know about the prompting, but I don't use the secondary profile
enough to make it worthwhile to have to make the selection each time.
What's the command-line setting?

As for the other's;
outlook.exe /profile profilename

If your profile name contains a space, enclose the profile name in quotation
marks (")
outlook.exe /profile "profile name"
